The Bloomington Police Department is celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2025. As part of the celebration, the department wanted a special badge that reflected its proud history while offering a fresh, modern look. Their regular service badge is a traditional 5-point star—a style commonly worn by departments across Illinois.
For the anniversary badge, they selected style S527AUSE from our wide selection of customizable designs. This style features vibrant U.S. and Illinois flags, a bold black background, and ample space to display anniversary years and commemorative wording—making it a distinctive and meaningful choice for the occasion.
Selecting the Anniversary Badge Design

The department covered the cost of all molds and tooling for the products that required it. We created a dedicated ordering page on the Badge & Wallet website, where officers and staff could easily purchase the approved design in a format that matched their role and fit their budget.
