How do I attach my flexible badge?

Flexible badges come with your choice of backing, selected at the time of order. The two most common options are:

  • Hook-and-Loop  — The most popular option. This backing is ideal for vests, uniforms, and outerwear that already include a loop panel. If your garment doesn’t already have a compatible panel, a sew-on loop panel can be added by a uniform tailor or sewing service.
  • Heat-Seal — This option is typically used for permanent attachment to garments. It requires a heat press or commercial-grade iron and is often installed by a uniform supplier. The heat-seal backing bonds the badge to the fabric, making it a durable, long-term solution.

Can I remove and reattach my badge?

If you choose hook-and-loop, the badge can be removed and reattached repeatedly — perfect for outerwear, tactical vests, or garment changes. Heat-seal badges are intended for permanent attachment and are not meant to be removed once applied.
