A SPECIAL BADGE FOR A SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY

The City of Lewisville is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025. This milestone is not only a chance to reflect on the department’s rich history and service over the past century but also an opportunity to look ahead to the next 100 years. To commemorate the occasion, the Lewisville Police Department wanted a special badge that would represent both their legacy and their future.

As part of the design, the department wanted to maintain the traditional oval shape of their standard badge while incorporating the city’s official centennial logo. They turned to Badge & Wallet to help bring their vision to life, ensuring the final design would be both meaningful and instantly recognizable as part of the department’s identity.

BADGESTUDIO: DESIGNING THE PERFECT BADGE

We partnered with Smith & Warren to offer BadgeStudio, a premium badge design service.

The BadgeStudio creative team expertly integrated the centennial logo into a classic oval-shaped badge, preserving the department’s identity while highlighting this historic milestone. The result was a beautifully detailed badge that officers could wear with pride throughout the anniversary year.

A COMPLETE COLLECTION: METAL BADGES, FLEXIBLE BADGES & LAPEL PINS

In addition to metal badges, we also offered flexible badges for tactical uniforms and lapel pins for non-sworn employees. By offering a variety of product types at different price points, we made it possible for everyone to own a commemorative piece, regardless of budget.

BADGE & WALLET: EASY ONLINE ORDERING

To support the project, the department paid for the BadgeStudio design process including the badge mold. All badge purchases were made individually with personal funds. To simplify the ordering process, we set up a dedicated page on Badge & Wallet for the program.

The page allows officers to easily select and purchase their badges. Each officer placed and paid for their order directly through our website, eliminating the need for department administration to collect money for anniversary item purchases.
