Each badge is manufactured in Smith & Warren's 27,000 square foot facility in White Plains, New York. All badges are 100% U.S.A. made and are hand crafted by skilled artisans, carefully inspected and held to the highest quality standards in the industry.

Production begins within 24 hours after you place your order (or, if ID is required, within 24 hours of your ID being verified).  Each custom badge passes through 5 major stages of production:

Stage 1: Engraving.  A technician lays out your text on each panel of your badge, paying attention to letter spacing and size.  Once finalized, a rotary engraving machine deeply engraves your text into the badge.

Stage 2: Enamel.  The colored enamel is applied into the deeply engraved letters on your badge.

Stage 3: Assembly.  For applied panel badges, the panels are soldered (attached) to the front of the badge and the attachment (pin or wallet clip) is soldered to the back of the badge.

Stage 4: Plating.  The shiny metal coating (nickel, rhodium, or gold) is applied to the badge.  For two-tone badges, badges are plated twice to achieve both silver and gold.

Stage 5: Quality Control.  A skilled technician checks each badge to make sure it is made to the specifications you ordered and that it meets our high quality standards.

When your order ships, you will receive an email with the tracking number.

At all stages of production, each badge is carefully inspected by hand for quality, accuracy and completeness so your new Smith & Warren badge is exactly what you ordered.
